Copyhold Lane, outside Mud House, will be closed for up to 24 hours between 12th March and 16th March 2026 to carry out emergency repairs following a water leak

PUBLIC NOTICE
Temporary closure of Copyhold Lane, Fernhurst CP, 12th March
2026.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex
County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic, Copyhold Lane, Fernhurst CP, in the
Chichester District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on
Copyhold Lane, outside of the property Mud House.
The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 12th March 2026 for up to 5 days (it is
estimated to be completed on 16th March 2026) and is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while South East Water undertakes a Emergency road closure due to a leak in the
carriageway..
Once the work starts the restriction will be in place 24hrs
