At Fernhurst Parish Council we are dedicated to providing the highest quality local government services. We strive to achieve this by continually improving our services, investing in our community, and fostering long-term relationships with our parishioners.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services including:

• Cemetery management
• Management & maintenance of  Fernhurst children’s playground
• Grounds maintenance at  Van Common
• Grounds maintenance at Fernhurst Village Green
• Maintenance & Management of the Crossfield Public Toilets
• Provision & maintenance of public seating
• Provision & maintenance of village bus shelters
• Maintenance & Management of Grit Bins

We promote the interests of Fernhurst parishioners at District and County Council levels.

Serving Fernhurst

Fernhurst Parish Council, works from an office in the Village Hall.  All Full Council and Committee meetings are open to the public and are held in the Fernhurst Hub or Village Hall.    The Council comprises a team of eleven volunteer Council Members, all parishioners, drawn from a wide and diverse range of backgrounds.  The Council Members are supported by the Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (the Proper Officer of the Council), who advises them on all aspects of statute and legislation.
