At Fernhurst Parish Council we are dedicated to providing the highest quality local government services. We strive to achieve this by continually improving our services, investing in our community, and fostering long-term relationships with our parishioners.
Our Services

We offer a wide range of services including:
- Provision of a Cemetery and its management
- Provision of a children’s playground at the Recreation Ground
- Provision of the Van Common, common land and public open space
- Management of the Fernhurst Village Green
- Provision of Public Toilets at the Crossfield Car Park
- Provision & maintenance of public seating, 17 benches across the Parish
- Provision & maintenance of six bus shelters along the main Midhurst Road (A286)
- Maintenance & Management of Grit Bins, 23 across the Parish
- Provide grant funding to local community organisations

Serving Fernhurst

Fernhurst Parish Council, works from an office in the Village Hall. All Full Council and Committee meetings are open to the public and are held in the Fernhurst Hub or Village Hall. The Council comprises a team of eleven volunteer Council Members, all parishioners, drawn from a wide and diverse range of backgrounds. The Council Members are supported by the Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (the Proper Officer of the Council), who advises them on all aspects of statute and legislation.
